DM Strategy supports founders and leadership teams operating in regulated markets, where strategic, regulatory, structural decisions are closely interconnected.
We help businesses navigate complexity around licensing, banking, and cross-border structuring by focusing on clarity before execution. Our work starts at the decision level - aligning regulation, structure, and operational realities before any commitments are made.
DM Strategy does not operate as a traditional advisory or execution-only provider.
We work alongside our clients to understand context, evaluate options, and support informed decisions that standup in practice — with regulators, banks, and partners.
We work selectively, prioritising long-term outcomes, continuity, and depth of involvement over volume - building sustained partnerships grounded in clarity and strategic alignment.
DM Strategy was founded by a fintech professional with more than ten years of experience across banking, payments, licensing, and cross-border business structures.
Prior to DM Strategy, the founder built and led BMP Global, a boutique fintech advisory firm working with companies across multiple jurisdictions. Through this work, he has been directly involved in dozens of licensing, banking, and structuring projects - spanning payments, crypto, and regulated financial services.
Working closely with founders operating in complex regulatory environments revealed a consistent pattern: early decisions around structure, licensing strategy, and banking access often determine whether a business can scale - or stall - long before execution begins.
This experience defines how DM Strategy operates today: with a focus on practical decision-making, regulatory reality, and long-term alignment - not theoretical advice or isolated execution.

Frequently Asked Questions
So are you consultants/advisors?
Not in the traditional sense. We sit between strategy and execution - we focus on decision-making and alignment before execution starts.
What do you actually do?
We help with decision readiness, then structuring, licensing, and banking - and for a few clients we support decisions long-term on a fractional basis.
Why not just hire a lawyer/consultant?
Because the problem usually isn’t a document - it’s choosing the right path across regulation, structure, and banking. We help make the decision work in reality, not just on paper.
How do we start?
We typically start with a readiness assessment to clarify the best path, then decide whether execution or a longer-term partnership makes sense.
DM Strategy supports founders in regulated markets where decisions are interconnected - structure, licensing, banking, and growth. When those are treated as separate tasks, execution gets stuck: accounts get blocked, licensing timelines explode, or investors lose confidence.
We start at the decision level: we map the situation, clarify options, and align strategy with regulatory reality before execution begins. Then we can support execution end-to-end, and in a limited number of cases we work as a fractional decision-making partner inside the leadership team. The goal is simple: fewer costly mistakes, faster progress, and decisions that stand up with banks, regulators, and partners.
